Mr Simon B Dickinson
Simon has worked as an Orthotist since qualifying from Salford University in 1996. His career has seen him work for the NHS as an Orthotist, Advanced Practitioner and Head of Service. He is currently Clinical Director for Talarmade, where he is responsible for R&D, Clinical services and Education.
Simon’s passion for foot and ankle management began whilst being mentored by Graham Lavis, surgical podiatrist, and Paul Cooke, Orthopaedic Surgeon, whilst working in Oxford. He continued his career in advanced practice roles at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham where he held the post of Honorary Consultant in Lower limb Biomechanics and Orthopaedics, and at Nottingham University Hospitals.
Simon’s passion is improving patient outcomes and maximising function for patients who have complex lower limb musculoskeletal and neurological pathologies.
