Mr Flanagan is a surgical fellow of the College of Podiatry.  He undertook academic surgical training in Scotland and higher surgical training in Northampton with externships in the USA & Germany.  He has a particular interest in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, non malignant neoplasm and limb salvage.  He has co-authored national guidance on antibiotic prophylaxis in podiatric surgery and is currently trust lead for thromboprophylaxis in ambulatory care.  George is currently employed by Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and is a medical advisor and trustee to the British Dupuytren’s Society.
