I have run the Amy Maclean Podiatry clinic for over 9 years and am based in a busy multi-disciplinary clinic alongside physio and sports massage therapists. My clinic centres around community: this includes working with local charities and having good working relationships with other local business owners, as well as making sure that the patients are at the focus of every decision.
I spent over 7 years working on a weekly basis with a local charity looking after patients undergoing through a cancer diagnosis. I find this very humbling and to be part of their care is a real privilege. When not in the hospital, I am found volunteering for the charity- bag packing, masked ball preparation and helping at muddy obstacle races, I do it all!
When not at work, I am always doing something, whether it be catching up with friends, organising social events or working on my pull ups in the gym! I don’t often sit still, I’ve been called the Duracell bunny as I have endless energy!
